Rules

This forum is a PG forum. As such, we will adhere to a set of rules outlined here.

1.) No foul language. We are all humans, and as such we are capable of speaking in a respectful manner. Using swear words just covers up the meaning of what we are trying to convey. We have language, so use it appropriately. we are all capable of that.

2.) No harassment. We will not tolerate attacks on other members. If someone is doing something incorrectly, we are all capable of redirecting them in a respectful manner. Use facts, not anger, to sway others.

3.) Don't feed trolls. For those of us who have not spent too much time on forums, there are people that peruse forums specifically to cause trouble. They like making other people angry, and they will say shocking or disturbing things just to get a rise out of people. So - if you see a post that sounds like it's from a troll, ignore it. A moderator will be along shortly to delete it. If you are not sure if a posting is from a troll or not, but feel compelled to post a response, do so politely and tactfully. Not in anger. You can also ask a moderator for their opinion of the post.

4.) Be open to advice.

6.) No sales please - I do breed and sell my own reptiles, and so I will have to politely ask that there be no sales on the forum. However; if you need to adopt out an animal, there is a section for "adoptions". The guidelines for adoption will be stickied there. You may feel free to post a thread making a request for an animal you would like to buy, if I do not have such an animal listed on my webpage. Anyone with an animal matching the description of the one being sought, will send a PM to the person seeking.

7.) Be KIND to the newbies. We were all newbies once somewhere, and if established members had been mean or rude to us, we would have left and never learned a thing. Let's keep this a warm, friendly environment. Smile
