Okay� I got my BP today, and I figured it�d be a good time to share his story. (yeah yeah, you can scroll down and skip to the pictures if you want to, you picture-fiends!)

I was at work a few months ago, and this guy walks in with a ten gallon tank and a critter keeper. In the ten-gal was a BP, in the critter keeper was a fairly large rat. He handed them over because he was �no longer able to care for the snake� (seems to be a common theme here in MI- we get animals ...

My job sucks right now.

I have only work one day this month, god how I hate how slow it is, hardly any construction work.

The price of gasoline was at $4.259 where I live, I just filled up list night ny pick up took $55.00 plus another $20 for the lawn mower.

Is there ever going to be an end to all this madness?

One the bright side I finaly seen my Ball python today after it hatched, by god it is beautiful.

So, my exotics vet had a crestie that was surrendered to the hosp. She is a 10 year old female breeder. She developed some reproductive issues.(cysts on her ovaries). The owner didnt want to put her down, and she is too old to be a candidate for surgery. They signed her over to the hosp, and they called me to take her. She is still in pretty good health. She eats well, and is active. Its just that she could die at any time...then again, she may live for years. There's no way to know.

Not sure if this is where to ask this, but its what i need help with...Does anybody know the best company to use for shipping reptiles... fedex says you must have a business license to ship live with them and it takes 3 wks of prep and paperwork... delta wants $105 to ship ... any ideas who has the best rates and quality shipping...

the reason i am asking is an individual has an adult female bearded and she will ship it to me but neither of us have ever shipped live so neither has any idea ...

A few of you read my post about Lenti...the sick Gecko that I adopted. We treated Lenti with antibiotics for 7 days, and she is still on weekly intestinal and deworming meds. Her Crypto test came back negative, but we finished the treatment anyway.

We have been offering her all kinds of worms and crickets. She was so lethargic that she couldnt catch the crickets, and vomited every worm she ate right back up. Well, this past week, Lenti has eaten SEVERAL crickets on her own. SHe was a lil slow ...

I just adopted a very sick leopard gecko named Lenti. Lenti was bought at Petco about 5 mos ago. She has never really "been right" according to her previous owners, and is now wasted away to almost nothing. She is fed baby food, and regurgitates everything she eats. They did take her to the vet recently, where she was dewormed with Panacur and given Baytril(an antibiotic). Still the same after the meds.

This is my first Gecko, and my vet warned me that if she has Cryptosporidia, ...

Heres some good advice.....HIRE MOVERS!!!

This was such an easy move since I hired movers. It may have cost me more than renting a truck and doing it myself, but it was totally worth it. I have some pretty large and heavy tanks. They moved them, with sand and plants in them (no animals of course) and wrapped them in pads and set them up for me on their stands. It was so AWESOME!!! All of my animals were packed into Zerox paper boxes for the car trip there, and My rack fits in the front ...

Anyone else see this?

Lenore Died

Well, Lenore died Sunday evening. Poor babe. We tried everything, minus vet care, don't know what went wrong. We bought her an anole on Saturday to see if she would take it because we believed she was wild caught (were going to try a frog next). She didn't eat it, but we still weren't too worried because it seemed like she was turning around. Think it was maybe some kind of cancer? Hard to tell, but all the bumps made both of us wonder.

Rotten dogs are the best.

Sicarii was removed from a farm that had 112 dogs. I adopted her in spite of her serious aggression issues. I worked long and hard(and still do) with this dog, and its all been worth it. (thanks Cesar Millan) She is 3 years old and 110lbs. SHe is also my best friend

Bindi Sue(the wonderdog) was found roaming with her puppy. She is estimated to be about 6. When I got her, she was dying from heartworm disease, has lymes and has buckshot in both of her back ...
